Let’s say for this rule, I want to focus on keywords from a few specific campaigns. I would select “Keywords from Selected Campaigns” and then select the campaigns in the dropdown.
Now that I have my campaigns egypt phone number library selected, this rule will apply to all keywords in those campaigns, but it will not make any adjustments to any other keyword sets in my account.
Determine Action
(increase bid, decrease bid, etc.).
In this section, we will define the actions we want to take on the keywords. This will depend on the conditions we set in the section below. I can choose from a number of different actions for my keyword rule. For this rule, I want to lower bids when my CPA gets too high, so I will choose the “Lower Bids” option. I am then asked to choose whether I want to lower my bid by a percentage or an amount.
Percentage means that my bid will decrease by X% each time the rule fires. If I decrease by an amount, that means my bid will only decrease by the amount I specify, like $0.25.

When automating multiple keywords, ads, campaigns, etc. with different bids or budgets, it’s best to set percentage rules so that the change has an equal impact across all campaigns. A $0.25 decrease in keyword bid might be a decrease on a keyword with a $20 bid. But for keywords with $1.00 or even $0.50 bids, you’ve reduced bids by 25% to 50%!
If you are only identifying 1-2 aspects of your account with more similar starting points, then a change of amount would be a good option if that is what you prefer.
